Brief
Typography can seem daunting for beginners, but Typology turns it into a fun card game where players identify and typefaces through visual clues and riddles. This playful approach combines interaction with a polished aesthetic making typography accessible while honoring its history and character.
Typefaces Used
Futura
Designed by Paul Renner, Futura embodies Bauhaus geometric with its simple shapes and became a key sans typeface of the 20th century.
Gill Sans
Designed by Eric Gill, Gill Sans offers a humanist touch with its calligraphic style, becoming iconic in British graphic design.
Goudy Oldstyle
Designed by Paul Renner, Futura showcases Bau geometry with its simple shapes and became a key sans-serif typeface of the20th century.
Stone Serif
Designed by Sumner Stone, this typeface emphasizes and consistency for digital use, featuring sturdy forms for high readability.

Card Design
Each card has a consistent front layout with a letter and a three-line riddle hinting at the letterform and typeface. The back layered compositions of the same letter in various typefaces, prompting players to notice subtle typographic differences before guessing.

Manual
The manual features a clear, structured layout that showcases the card deck's visual identity. Its minimal design enhances the packaging and keeps the rules easy to understand at a glance.
